Last year, 2023, the call went out from Makers Festival, for submissions for the juried exhibition in 2024 entitled “Under the Surface”.
These are my submissions: the first “Found in Rivers” and the second “Geo-Phys”.

“Found in Rivers”
involved a return to my fascination with Celtic art and archeological finds. Many votive offerings have been found in rivers of England and are displayed in British Museums. Creating the piece allowed me to use “goldwork” techniques.

“Geo-Phys”
Is an embroidered and mixed media interpretation of a ground penetrating radar image.
