Spring Textile Exhibition.
I joined the Impatiens Patchwork and Quilting Group last year. Founded nearly twenty ago, the group is a thriving, friendly collection of enthusiasts from my Norfolk area. We meet monthly to stitch, share ideas, learn and support one another; we have invited speakers and occasional workshops.
The Spring Exhibition will be a colourful celebration of creativity, friendship and a varied display of Textile Art and Craft. On show will be traditional and contemporary quilting and patchwork; also hand and machine embroidery. There will be bags and bowls, cushions and other creations to view and refreshments for a modest charge.
There is a great variety of talent within the group.
We hope visitors might see work and think – “I’d like to do that”. Well, we’re a welcoming group and members will be present during the weekend; come and meet us, discover new ideas, be inspired and talk to us. You might even think of joining us.
